Personal tax and accounting, entirely online.
Federal and state returns for individuals and businesses, and advisory when a decision needs the tax answer first. Wherever you are in the United States, you work directly with the Washington State licensed CPA who prepares and signs your return, at a fixed fee agreed before work begins.
Who this is for
Four common situations. If yours is not listed, describe it and you will get a straight answer about whether this is a good fit.
You have a W-2, and maybe a bit more
Wages, some interest or dividends, perhaps a side income or a rental. You want it filed correctly and on time, by someone who will answer a question about it.
Individual returnsYou run a small business
An S corporation, a partnership, a C corporation, or an LLC. You need the entity return and the K-1s that go with it.
Business returnsThis is your first return in the US
You are on a student or work visa and are not sure whether you are a resident for tax purposes, or which form applies to you.
International returnsYou have years that were never filed
One year was missed, then another. You want to know the exposure and get current, with the cost known before anything starts.
Unfiled prior yearsWhat it costs
Prices are published rather than quoted on request. These are starting fees. What moves them is listed in full on the pricing page.

How it works
Four steps, by email, with the fee settled before any documents change hands.
01
Tell us what you need
Send a short description of your situation by email. No documents at this stage, and no identifying numbers.
02
Get a fixed quote
You receive a fee in writing before any work starts, along with a list of the documents needed. If the scope changes later, the fee is agreed again before the work continues.
03
Send your documents
Documents are exchanged by email. Send them once the fee is agreed, not before.
04
Review, sign, and file
You receive the prepared return to review. Once you have approved and signed it, it is e-filed, and you get confirmation that it was accepted.
What you get
A fixed fee, agreed before work starts
No hourly billing. The fee is confirmed in writing, and a change in scope is agreed before it is worked on.
Prepared and signed by a licensed CPA
You work directly with the CPA who prepares and signs your return, licensed by the Washington State Board of Accountancy and verifiable through the board. The same person handles your return each year.
Answers you can act on
Questions about your return are answered in plain language as part of the fee, without jargon and without being talked down to.
Handled entirely online
Every step happens remotely, wherever you live in the United States. There is no office visit and nothing to post unless you would rather.
Electronically filed
Returns are e-filed where the form and your circumstances allow it, and you receive confirmation of acceptance.
A named contact for IRS notices
If a notice arrives about a return that was prepared for you, you know who to send it to and you get a reply.
Recent guides
Plain explanations of the rules that come up most often. Every piece carries the date it was last reviewed.
Payroll for a one person S corporation
One employee still means real payroll: quarterly returns, an annual return, deposits on a schedule, and a W-2 by 31 January. Each carries its own penalty.
Capital gains, short term and long term, on Schedule D
The holding period is counted from the day after you bought, and one day short moves the whole gain to ordinary rates. The wash sale window is 61 days.
Estimated tax due dates, and the safe harbour that avoids a penalty
The penalty is worked out separately for each period, so paying extra later does not undo an earlier shortfall. Withholding is the exception, and it is useful.
Start with a description, not a document
Tell us what you need and you will have a reply within one business day. Do not send tax documents or identifying numbers until a fee is agreed.
